I'd put the bigger items in the paper, perhaps in your neighboring town's paper, also. If you don't mind selling in lots Ebay would be great; separate clothes by size and trend and list them. Don't forget that you can donate items and you could probably get a tax write off if you have valuable/pricey pieces. Don't forget to reasonably price your items; I generally take about 75% off market value and go from there. Sometimes you'll have to go lower, especially if it's older or used. I have heard great things about that site! Its like ebay and a garage sale all in one. You could do a diff kind of rummage sale and call it something else so it sounds classier. Print up and send out some flyer's for friends and relatives saying you are having a sale at your house on a certain day. Put in the flyer that it will be first come first serve, cash and carry stuff and type some of the stuff you will be selling.
