apparently BOA told her to do a short sale. She is elderly and doesnt work (her husband paid for the house) and wants it gone so she can move to be near her children.

its too bad what happened to her…but im thinking maybe this is a hardship that a bank will move quickly on…thoughts?

My neighbour’s are terrible noisy inconsiderate jerks BUT their house is for sale, yay!….However, I had a hard time finding it’s listing and I know exactly where it is located, I think their realtor is kinda lacking….

My question: Can I make Kijiji ads etc… for their listing? I just want to put the location , MLS #, and realtor’s name but I’m not sure if it’s legal to do this. I would rather have a marching band live next door than wannabe “Fast & Furious” noisemakers…. If any qualified realtors know the answer to this querey, please let me know and thank you very much….
Sorry, I should mention that I’m in Canada, but it sounds like it’s probably a “no” from the two quick answers.
Wow, thanks for the quick responses all, dissappointing as it is to me, seems a shame that I can’t do this. The realtor has it only listed on two sites and I could have it on 200 by suppertime…but we’re not exactly on speaking terms at his point
Thanks Glenn et al. As soon as I saw the sign go up I made sure there wasn’t a leaf on my property or anything detractive. The disturbors actually live with their Dad who is a compulsive lawn mower, lawn roller etc (He mows/rolls no less than 5 day per week)… so I’m good that way and definitely good advice about approaching potential buyers, don;t wanna look like a crank or something.

we have a 2nd house and are wanting to sell it fast, there is a company that is called AQS (a quick sale) I know they offer about 30% lower than the market value, but I am wanting to know about peoples experiences with them. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

How much over asking should you bid a short sale house?

We’ve been looking at houses for about 18 months now. We have never had an accepted bid on any offers that we put in. We’re interested in the short sales (we don’t mind the wait and the market isn’t really going anywhere), so the problem was our offer was always a little below asking. In some cases, it was just 5,000 less than asking. We recently put in a new bid (I’m not sure if it’s been accepted) and we went over. The real estate agent was saying to put in the offer 20-30 percent higher than asking, but we didn’t go over THAT much. There was one property in the area that sold at 138,000, and another sold at 104,000, and still another at around 95,000. All of these houses are very similar, so we agreed to offer 112,536. I know the short sale process is tedious, but in Miami, the short sales really move fast before they ever go into foreclosure. All of the houses we ever bid before went quite smoothly and sold, as expected, to the highest bidder. Is 12,536 over the asking price enough to have a chance to win this house in Miami (more specifically, Homestead, but not a flood zone).

My lease is ending January 30. I just learned that the house is going to Trustee’s sale February 17,2009. What can I do to remain living here. Do I pay this months rent to the owner who is loosing the house. Who do I contact if anyone to inform of our presence here. Who will evict us and if so how fast must we leave. Please help!

since then. We are selling the house for what it will cost the pay off the mtg and pay the realtor.. I was thinking of doing A by sale by owner and drop the price almost 5000, which would have been her share of the sale.. Is it right to do that? She is telling me I might still have to give her money..
If I don’t sell this house fast I am going to lose it…
